Accountant Assistant

Job Descriptions:

• Handle full sets of accounts GL, AR, AP, GST F5 submission, tax computation/filing, and yearly statutory financial reporting
• Perform monthly closing and bank reconciliation
• Prepare payments to suppliers weekly and ad-hoc basis
• Prepare monthly closing reports, schedules, and variance analyses as well as yearly financial statements
• Ensure compliance with financial authority limits, financial reporting standards (FRS), company policies, and other regulations
• Monitor working capital and update of fixed assets register
• Responsible for quarterly stock take and half-yearly fixed assets sighting
• Liaise with auditor for yearly statutory audit and periodic internal audit
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prefer degree in Accounting or ACCA or equivalent professional qualification;
• At least 2-5 year of audit experience
• Must have good knowledge of SFRS and accounting entries
• Preferably have knowledge of the Xero accounting system
• Possess a good working attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
