Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and manage enterprise storage systems to meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and system security configurations.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and optimize resource allocation across environments.
- Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup) to ensure data protection and disaster recovery compliance.
- Perform system and storage capacity planning, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Automate storage, server, and backup tasks using scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash) to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure regular backup verification, restoration testing, and documentation of backup procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT infrastructure, storage, and backup projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular system, storage, and backup security assessments, applying industry best practices to ensure compliance.
- Manage hybrid storage and backup solutions in on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
- Provide advanced technical support for storage, server, and backup-related incidents.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in storage engineering, server administration, and backup solution management.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, IBM, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with enterprise backup tools (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualization technologies.
- Expertise in Windows Server and Linux system administration.
- Advanced scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with hybrid cloud storage and backup environments (Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with IT security standards, data retention policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
