Mun Zuk Westgate 满粥 brings authentic Cantonese congee culture to Singapore through their innovative rebranding of the established Li Fang Congee legacy, which began in 2005 at ABC Bricksworks Food Centre under founder Mr. Sky Tan. Located at #B2-K1/K2 and operating daily from 9am to 9pm, this specialized congee restaurant represents the evolution of traditional porridge-making techniques combined with modern food safety standards and convenience. As part of the Li Fang Group, Mun Zuk maintains the high-quality standards that built their reputation while introducing contemporary branding and enhanced dining experiences for Singapore's diverse food culture.
The restaurant's signature offering centers on their collagen-rich congee, produced daily in their central kitchen using hours of slow-simmering techniques under strict Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency and nutritional value. Premium dishes include the Four Treasure Congee featuring red leg prawns, Tioman fish, cuttlefish, and lalas (clams), alongside their popular pork collagen-rich congee topped with fresh, succulent prawns that showcase the depth of flavor achieved through their meticulous cooking process. The silky congee base, slow-simmered with rich pork collagen broth and topped with tender sliced pork and creamy century egg, demonstrates their commitment to traditional Cantonese comfort food preparation methods.
Mun Zuk's success in Singapore's competitive food landscape stems from their dedication to producing genuinely nutritious congee filled with natural collagen, providing both comfort food satisfaction and health benefits that appeal to health-conscious consumers. The restaurant's convenient location within Westgate, combined with delivery options through foodpanda and Deliveroo, ensures accessibility for both dine-in customers and those preferring home delivery. Their set meal offerings typically include complementary items like drinks and youtiao (Chinese fried dough sticks), creating complete dining experiences that honor traditional congee culture while adapting to modern Singapore dining preferences and convenience expectations.
I wanted something warm and wet for dinner because of the continuous rain on 10 Jan 2025. Decided to try this porridge stall at Westgate, and I got the claypot oyster set.
The porridge was really good and could be eaten on its own without anything else. The claypot oyster was quite disappointing though, especially compared to the picture they used for the menu (I know most food places will say the photos are for illustrative purposes only).
Would come back for their porridge.

One of the best porridge places. Must try.
The signature porridge is value for money and the chicken servicing size is huge.
Porridge is made hot upon order and ingredients are fresh.
Highly recommended

2nd time here, both mince pork porridge and ma you chicken porridge are flavourful and delicious. Porridge is watery smooth type, where u can drink it (meaning cook until very soft). However the ma you chicken I thought it was ma you chicken, it's actually ma you porridge with chicken, chicken isn't ma you flavour. Despite so, it's still delicious. I prefer the mince meat one out of 2 tested. And will still consider to visit to try other flavour as we are living nearby.
The mayou chicken porridge is $8.60 on its own without set. So it's more ex than hawker or kopitiam, and it's not restaurant style environment. I manage to get a Fave discount of $3 off bill though.
If without discount and you are thinking you are paying more as its an aircon environment, it's very hot here. I'm sweating, my son 6yrs not eating also say it's so hot, the person beside me is using her the portable fan too. It's a sat lunch time, so not sure is it si jia ke (China supermarket) too much people so very stuffy or it's always stuffy. Hence the 4 star given. And if mun zuk is reading reviews, do consider providing fan option.

One of the most delicious Cantonese porridge that I have tried - flavourful, thick and smooth. The mixed pork was a little expensive but the ingredients (especially the livers) were fresh and generous in portion. There were lots of tables, which were clean and spacious.

Hearty meal that warms you from the inside ❤️ Their congee is the ultimate comfort food!
Highly recommend their Live Crab Congee! We were hooked from the first bite, the collagen-rich congee has such an amazing texture. It’s smooth and silky, flavourful, and gets even better with the fresh crab, which adds a rich umami flavor to each spoonful.
We also tried the Gan Xiang Lala Claypot, it's spicy and goes very well with the congee! Being a local favourite, the Poach Chicken is tender and savoury, and would be perfect with a bowl of rice!

Second time here, both the minced pork porridge and ma you chicken porridge were flavourful and delicious. The porridge is a watery, smooth type, cooked until very soft – almost drinkable. However, what I thought was 'ma you chicken' turned out to be ma you porridge with chicken, and the chicken itself wasn't ma you flavored. Despite that, it's still delicious. I preferred the minced meat one of the two I tried. I will still consider visiting to try other flavors since we live nearby.
The ma you chicken porridge is $8.60 on its own, without a set meal. So it's more expensive than a hawker center or kopitiam, and the environment is not restaurant-style. I managed to get a Fave discount of $3 off the bill, though.
If you're paying full price and expecting an air-conditioned environment, it's very hot here. I was sweating; my 6-year-old son, who wasn't even eating, also said it was so hot, and the person beside me was also using her portable fan. It was a Saturday lunchtime, so I'm not sure if it was due to too many people from Si Jia Ke (China supermarket) making it stuffy, or if it's always this stuffy. Hence, the 4-star rating.
